The Metaverse is a virtual world where we can interact, socially and economically, through avatars, giving us the feeling that we are immersed in it. The possibilities for sports range from buying and selling products, such as NFTs, to holding a competition.
The Metaverse blurs geographical boundaries by allowing fans from different countries to enjoy a match together. A fan could also take pictures or chat with their favorite player, share a drink in a virtual bar with other fans, or even enter a virtual field and run alongside the players.
